Monday morning started with a 15 minute meditation, led by Conference Director Bob McGaughey. The service was attended by over one hundred delegates, who enjoyed the perks of free coffee and early entrance to breakfast. “It’s a great way to start the day and it makes me feel like I’m in the center of everything,” Taneum Fotheringill of Washington said.
McGaughey introduced his personal beliefs at the meditation, which include his deep love for Christianity. The session began and ended in prayer. “I ain’t going to change my beliefs,” McGaughey said.

The message centered on the idea of helping people improve the quality of their lives. After the service concluded, he stated that there are over a hundred television stations, but people do not always have the will to help feed the hungry. McGaughey quoted Mother Teresa, saying, “When we are feeding the hungry,we are feeding Jesus Christ.”
